Just hours after Türkiye’s 3-0 quarterfinal defeat to Slovenia at the 2026 Volleyball Nations League, French star Earvin Ngapeth took another swipe at his former teammate Adis Lagumdzija on his Instagram Story.
Ngapeth reposted the message in which the Turkish opposite had accused the French and Polish players of creating “a real disaster” inside Fenerbahçe, adding the sarcastic caption: “IT’S MY FAULT.”
The post comes after Ngapeth’s earlier response to Lagumdzija’s criticism, in which he told the Turkish opposite:
“Try reaching the VNL podium first. For you, that would already be an achievement…and a great result.”
On Wednesday morning, however, Lagumdzija’s 21 points—the second-highest total of the match—were not enough to prevent Türkiye from being swept by Slovenia and falling short of a place in the VNL semifinals.
