The United States men’s national team is heading straight from one tournament to another, carrying both momentum and confidence into the 2026 NORCECA Final Six.
Fresh from winning gold at the NORCECA Pan American Cup, the Americans will take the same roster to Ponce, Puerto Rico, where the Final Six will be played from August 23–29.
The USA arrive as the reigning champions and will be looking to extend an impressive run in the competition. They have won the last three editions of the Final Six, while also claiming bronze in 2021 and 2022.
Six teams will compete in Ponce: the United States, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico and hosts Puerto Rico.
The tournament will begin with a round-robin phase, with every team facing the other five.
The top teams will then advance to the semifinals and medal matches.
The Americans will once again rely on a squad that combines emerging talent with players who have already made an impact on the international stage. Among the key names is Patrick Rogers, who was named MVP of the Pan American Cup after an outstanding tournament.
Setter Michael Wright, recognised as the Pan Am Cup’s Best Setter, will also be central to the team’s ambitions, while middle blocker Parker Tomkinson returns after being selected as the tournament’s First Best Blocker.
Head coach Reid Priddy has kept faith with the group that delivered the Pan American Cup title, with David Lee and Jonathan Winder continuing as his assistants.
The Final Six roster includes setters Michael Wright and Tread Rosenthal; opposites Kainoa Wade and Kyle Hobus; outside hitters Patrick Rogers, Jacob Pasteur, Sterling Foley and Sean Kelly; middle blockers Jackson Cryst, Micah Wong Diallo, Cameron Thorne and Parker Tomkinson; and liberos Jacob Reilly and Troy Gooch.
For the USA, the challenge is clear: maintain their dominance in the region while navigating a demanding tournament immediately after their Pan American Cup triumph.
With three consecutive Final Six titles already in the trophy cabinet, the Americans arrive in Ponce not simply as contenders, but as the team everyone else will be trying to knock off the top of the podium.
