France: Cannes wins in Poitiers and Nice destroys Ajaccio in advances of Round 9

Two French Ligue A advances were played tonight and, if there will be no last-minute twists, only one Round 9 match was postponed for COVID.
Poitiers is literally overwhelmed by Cannes in the first 2 sets, but then they starts playing and touches a sensational comeback, surrendering only 14:16 at the tie-break (after having recovered from 8:12) when Koncilja, 20 points and top scorer among the winners (including 3 aces and 6 winning blocks), blocks the attack of Neves Atu (the best of his team with 21 points). A great evening in any case for the Cannes’ middle-blockers who score 39 points in two, and Averill is MVP of the match for the second time in a row.
In the other match Nice (led by the opposite Andric, author of 21 points) overwhelmed the reworked Ajaccio (on the bench Martinez Gion, JosΓ© Romero Gonzalez and Quesque), who are still the only team without a win. Ivan Kolev (10 points) was the only player with a double digit performance for the guests…
