After the debut of Pool B, Pool A of 2023 European Silver League started with two games played yesterday and today between Faroe Islands and Cyprus.
Both games, played in Faroe Islands, ended with a clear straight sets win in favor of the visiting side.
On Monday, partially it was 22:25, 15:25 and 19:25, with Angelos Alexiou (3 aces) and Odysseas Savvides top scorers on the winning side with 12 points each.
Probably the most efficient player among the hosts was JΓ³han Arne Elisson Wang with 5 winning blocks, even if Cyprus managed to win the game without any problem, like in the second match, ended in just 70 minutes (25:19, 25:15, 25:15), with 12 winning blocks (6 from top scorer Marios Stroukarevits, who scored the same number of points of his team mate Odysseas Savvides, 13).
