European Silver League: double win for Cyprus against Faroe Islands in debut of Pool A

After the debut of Pool B, Pool A of 2023 European Silver League started with two games played yesterday and today between Faroe Islands and Cyprus.
Both games, played in Faroe Islands, ended with a clear straight sets win in favor of the visiting side.
On Monday, partially it was 22:25, 15:25 and 19:25, with Angelos Alexiou (3 aces) and Odysseas Savvides top scorers on the winning side with 12 points each.
Probably the most efficient player among the hosts was Jóhan Arne Elisson Wang with 5 winning blocks, even if Cyprus managed to win the game without any problem, like in the second match, ended in just 70 minutes (25:19, 25:15, 25:15), with 12 winning blocks (6 from top scorer Marios Stroukarevits, who scored the same number of points of his team mate Odysseas Savvides, 13).
