In a last 2023/24 Del Monte® Coppa Italia SuperLega quarterfinal match, Sir Susa Vim Perugia clinched the last semifinal spot by dominating Valsa Group Modena with a straight-set victory at their PalaBarton.
The impressive win (25:22, 25:16, 25:18) send Perugia into the Final Four, setting the stage for the concluding matches in Bologna on January 27 and 28, 2024.
Perugia’s victory was marked by a remarkable team effort, highlighted by Kamil Semeniuk’s great performance, earning him the MVP award with 14 points, including 2 aces and an astonishing 79% attack efficiency.
Other notable contributors included Jaime Herrera, who added 13 points with a 56% attack success rate.
The quarterfinals were packed with intense action.
Yesterday, in fact, Mint Vero Volley Monza triumphed over Cucine Lube Civitanova (3-1), Itas Trentino swept Rana Verona (3-0), and in a nail-biting match, Allianz Milano surpassed Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza (3-2).
