Decisive an absolute better performance in attack (60% to 40%) mostly thanks to 3 players in double digit: top scorer Nimir Abdel Aziz, with 19 points through 61% in attack and 2 winning blocks, Earvin Ngapeth and Mirza Lagumdzija, who added 14 and 13 respectively.
Straight sets win also for Champions League semifinalist (and not without problems) Ziraat Bankkart, who down Türşad with the same result (25:18, 25:18, 25:23), still without Matt Anderson but with 17 points from Argentina National Team member Luciano Visentin and 16 by Wouter Ter Maat.
Other 3 teams won their respective games today in straight sets: Galatasaray HDI Sigorta, who fought but eventually beat Develi Bld. (25:23, 25:23, 25:19), Brand Group Alanya Bld. who trampled over last-placed Bigadiç Bld. (25:14, 25:16, 25:16) after just 1 hour and 9 minutes of play and 11 winning blocks, and Kuşgöz İzmir Vinç Akkuş Bld., who down Hatay B.Şehir Bld. (25:21, 25:21, 25:22) despite a great performance by Yusuf Eken (top scorer with 21 points through 57% in attack and 3 aces), but with an impressive performance in blocking with 15 winning blocks in just 3 sets (6 only by Halit Kursulut).
3 points also for Arkas Spor who, after the surprising elimation from CEV Cup, close the picture with a 3-1 (25:20, 20:25, 25:19, 25:23) home win over Spor Toto that is worth the sixth place in the standings. Despite the absence of Georg Grozer, decisive the 17 winning blocks (10 for tue rivals), 20 points by top scorer Burutay Subasi (2 aces, 2 blocks and 59% in attack) and 16 by Efe Mandiraci.
Bozidar Vucicevic also scored 20 points for Spor Toto, including 1 ace and 5 winning blocks but with only 40% in attack (3 errors, blocked 9 times).
