Final for 3rd Place of 2023/24 Plusliga started today between Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, eliminated in semifinal series by Jastrzębski Węgiel, and Projekt Warszawa, who surrendered to Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.
Game 1 ended after a hard-fought 0-3 (25:27, 28:30, 19:25) in favor of the team from country’s capital, at least, in first two sets, as then Resovia collapsed, unable to re-open the game.
After 100 minutes of game, Bartłomiej Bołądź left the court as top scorer with 15 points to his name, all in attack, through 68% and MVP award, closely followed by Kevin Tillie who added 14 including 1 ace, 1 block and 50% in attack, the same number of points of Torej DeFalco for Resovia (42% in attack and 3 blocks).
Game 2 is scheduled already on Friday, April 26, starting from 8.30 pm (Local Time).
