Round 22 of 2024/25 Plusliga or, if you prefer, Round 7 of second leg, continued today with the clash between ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Ślepsk Malow Suwałki.
ZAKSA continued their impressive form in PlusLiga, securing a 3-1 (22:25, 25:15, 25:23, 25:16) despite losing the first set and then bouncing back strong, claiming their fifth consecutive win and 15th of the season.
Bartosz Kurek led the charge earning MVP award with 23 points to his name through 54% in attack and 3 winning blocks, while Rafał Szymura and David Smith also contributed with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
On the other side of the net, Bartosz Filipiak and Paweł Halaba were the most prolific players with 11 points each.
ZAKSA dominated in attack, as well as in serving with 6 aces to 1 and blocking, scoring as many as 14 points from this element compared to the rivals’ 4, proving their strength as a top contender in PlusLiga.
Round 22 will close tomorrow with the game between Barkom Każany Lwów and Steam Hemarpol Norwid Częstochowa.
