#Russia: Muserskiy misses out Nations League

Russian national team will be without one of their best players, Dmitriy Muserskiy, in the upcoming FIVB Nations League.
The 30-year-old middle blocker, playing as an opposite hitter last season in Suntory Sunbirds (Japan), posted on his Instagram profile, with the title “I’ve suffered for five years”, that he will not be able to play with Russia national team in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League.

“Dear friends, this year I have to skip the Volleyball National League due to injury, which I sustained in August 2014, a week before the World Championship. To be more precise, it’s an inguinal hernia. At that time, it didn’t cause much discomfort, but over time, many of my movements became limited as it grew and grew.
