The Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation (RFEVB) announced that Ricardo Maldonado is the new head coach of the country’s National Team and will direct them through the qualifications for the next CEV European Championship, in 2021.
The 55-year-old Argentine expert has been working as a head coach of CyL Palencia 2020 (currently in the second division), a club which is actually the Spain Youth National Team, for more than a decade.
Prior to his career with base categories, he has won the Spanish Cup one time (with CDV Río Duero Soria) at the senior level.
