Italy: Aleksandr Kimerov to Verona

1 min read

After underperforming in the 2020/21 Italian volleyball Cup, NBV Verona quickly reacted in the transfer market.
They announced formalizing the agreement with the Russian a 2.15m tall opposite Aleksandr Kimerov from Fakel Novi Urengoy.
His volleyball career includes winning the gold medal with Russian national team at the Universiade in 2015.
The Russian side terminated the contract with him due to his behavior outside the court: he lost temper a few months ago, attacking a car driver in Moscow, but he was also involved in an incident in a plane, three years ago.
