Italy: Alex Nikolov to Cucine Lube Civitanova until 2028

Italian powerhouse Cucine Lube Civitanova extended the contract of Bulgarian outside hitter Alex Nikolov, ensuring his presence on the team until 2028.
Since his arrival in the summer of 2022, he has dazzled spectators and rivals alike with his extraordinary attacking prowess, relentless determination, and mature approach to the game. These traits have allowed him to stand out in the challenging SuperLega Credem Banca from his very first season.

The son of legendary Vladimir Nikolov, Alex has lived up to his legacy, already claiming the title of Athlete of the Year in the U.S. college championship, adding to his accolade as the Best Spiker at the World Championship U19 in 2021.
His journey from Levski Sofia in Bulgaria to Long Beach in the USA and finally to Civitanova Marche has been marked by several MVP awards.
