Straight sets win also for Montpellier, 0-3 (23:25, 20:25, 21:25) on the field of Poitiers, who struggled a lot in attack despite a good performance from opposite Metin Toy (top scorer of the game with 17 points through 52% in attack and 1 ace), and Paris, who literally destroyed Narbonne (25:15, 25:17, 25:17) mostly thanks to an impressive performance in blocking, with as many as 14 points from this element in just three sets!
Close the picture the hard-fought home win of Toulouse over Saint Nazaire, 3-2 (25:17, 23:25, 25:20, 17:25, 19:17).
Despite 14 winning blocks, compared to only 4 of the winners, the visiting side surrendered only 19-17 in fifth set.
Julien Winkelmuller and Maxime Hervoir were the top scorers for Toulouse, scoring 22 and 18 points, respectively.
Round 22 will close tomorrow, on Sunday, with the game between Sète and last-placed Saint-Jean d’Illac.
