EuroVolley 2026: first part of qualifiers is over – straight sets win for Czech Republic, Türkiye and Greece in last games of 2024

First part of 2026 CEV Eurovolley Qualifiers is over, with next games for each 7 Pools scheduled in 2025.
Also today, all three games ended in straight sets with clear victories for Czech Republic, Türkiye and Greece.
The first one, who climbed to the top of Pool C with 6 points, defeated second-placed Norway in front of more than 1500 home fans at Sport Hall Mír in Tábor with a clean 3-0 (25:17, 25:14, 25:20), led by a great Lukas Vasina, top scorer of the match with 17 points through an impressive 71% in attack, including 1 ace, well supporter by Patrick Indra and Martin Licek, in double digit too with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
On the other side of the net Erik Kavli put down 14 points for a Hungary never entered into the game.
First win for Türkiye who, at their TVF Ziraat Bankkart Volleyball Hall Ankara / A, beat Hungary in just 66 minutes of play, 3-0 (25:11, 25:10, 25:17), leading the game from start to finish in a clash valid for Pool A, surprisingly led by Denmark, to the top of the current standings with 6 points and 2 wins in as many games. Bedirhan Bülbül and Adis Lagumdzija lead the charge today with 15 and 14 points respectively for the winners (75% in attack, 5 winning blocks and 4 aces for the first one), even if the winners were absolutely better in all element, starting from blocking (10 to 3), serving (10 aces, and no one for Hungary), as well as attack (56% to 33%) and reception.
Even better did Greece in Pool F who, at their Neapolis National Sports Hall in Larissa,
literally destroyed Georgia 3-0 (25:14, 25:8, 25:16) in just 1 hour
and 3 minutes of play!
In front of about 1200 home fans, Theodoros Voulkidis scored 10 points for the winners, good above all from the service line with 11 aces (only 2 for modest Georgia).
