French volleyball superstar Earvin Ngapeth returns to French volleyball by signing with Alterna Volley Stade Poitevin, although remains unclear whether this is a temporary move while he waits for an overseas offer, or if he will commit to the entire 2024/25 season.
If he stays for the full season, it would mark a significant boost for the club from Poitiers, potentially signaling their return to the elite of French volleyball.
Fans are reminded of the clubās 2010/11 championship-winning season, with the jersey of Tours Volley-Ball. Then he moved to prestigious clubs in Italy, like Cuneo and Modena, Russia (Kuzbass Kemerovo and Zenit Kazan), as well as Turkey (Halkbank Ankara).
Either way Earvin Ngapeth, who led France to Olympic gold and was named MVP, is warmly welcomed back home.
