Epic success for Gioiella Prisma Taranto, Cucine Lube Civitanova 3-2 (19:25, 21:25, 31:29, 25:20, 15:11) who, after a 0-2 deficit, staged a super comeback led by top scorer and MVP Tim Held, on the fied instead of Filippo Lanza and author of 25 points, well supported by Fabrizio Gironi, who added 18. On the other side of the net, Adis Lagumdzija recorded 20 points but he wasn’t enough.
Close the picture the four sets success of Valsa Group Modena over Sonepar Padova, 3-1 (25:23, 22:25, 25:19, 25:22), with 20 points from top scorer Paul Buchegger, 16 with the signature of MVP Giovanni Sanguinetti, and 15 from Tommaso Rinaldi.
