France: Toulouse down Cannes in advance of Round 12

Round 12 of 2024/25 Marmara Spike League started today with the advance between Toulouse and newcomers Cannes, one of protagonists of this part of season.
However, they suffered third defeat in a row in the competition, surrendering with the score of 3-1 (25:16, 25:18, 19:25, 25:22) on the field of today’s rivals, and after wasting a 13-16 lead in decisive fourth set.
Nathan Feral led the winners with 24 points through 61% in attack, 1 block and 3 aces, followed by Noa Duflos who added 18 through 58% in attack, with 1 block and 3 aces too.
Double digit also for Ilya Petkov, who added 11, all in attack, through 79% and without errors, and for Lohan Nack Minyem, with 10, while Reda Haikal top-scored Cannes with 19 points with 1 ace, 1 block and 47% in attack.
Both sides now shared 5th place in the standings with 17 points each, waiting for the other games scheduled tomorrow.
