Russia: all results of Round 16 – Zenit Kazan destroy their closest pursuers Belgorod and the others

Round 16 of 2024/25 Russian Superliga has been completed today with the last Zenit Kazan, ended with a clean 3-0 (25:20, 26:24, 25:17) of the home team, absolute leader of the competition, over Belogorie Belgorod.
The Tatarstan giants, in fact, boast 41 points and a +6 from their closest pursuers Belgorod.
Behind them, with 34 points, Dynamo Moscow and Lokomotiv Novosibirsk.
The first one needed five sets to prevail after a thrilling game against No.9 Fakel Novyi Urengoy, 3-2 (28:30, 24:26, 25:22, 25:18, 20:18), while Lokomotiv had a dayoff this week.
Other results include another tie break win, the one of Yenisey Krasnoyarsk over Kuzbass Kemerovo, 3-2 (25:17, 18:25, 18:25, 25:23, 15:13), while the other winners earned three points: Gazprom-Yugra Surgut won on the field of newcomers MGTU Moscow, 0-3 (23:25, 23:25, 18:25), and the same did Dynamo-LO, on the field of ASK Nizhny Novgorod, 0-3 (22:25, 17:25, 19:25), while Zenit St.Petersburg won in front of their home fans over Neftyanik Orenburg, 3-0 (25:17, 25:16, 25:17), trampling over the rivals.
Close the picture the 1-3 (22:25, 19:25, 25:20, 22:24) win of Dynamo Ural on the field of NOVA Novokuybyshevsk.
