France: Paris stun Tourcoing in advance of Round 16!

Round 16 of 2024/25 Marmara Spike League started today with the advance between Paris and leaders Tourcoing, surprisingly won by the home team with the score of 3-2 (25:23, 20:25, 27:25, 16:25, 15:12).
After more than 2 hours and 30 minutes of play, Nik Mujanovic led the charge scoring 24 points for the winners, including 1 ace, 2 blocks and 38% in attack, well supported by Shikun Peng and Rok Bracko, who added 16 each.
Pablo Koukartsev (46% in attack, 1 ace and 2 blocks), the most prolific player of the game, tallied 25 points for Tourcoing, who remain to the top of the standings at +3 from Montpellier who, on Sunday, will play on the field of Sète while the team from country’s capital temporarily jump to 7th place with the same number of points of Nice and Cannes, who will face each others tomorrow in the derby.
Round 16 will continue tomorrow with other four games, that also include the very important game to stay in Ligue A between last-placed Plessis Robinson and Saint Nazaire, a clash between Toulouse and Poitiers while, in a big classic of French Volleyball, Tours will welcome Chaumont.
