France: Chaumont destroy Tourcoing in big match that closes Round 17

Round 17 of 2024/25 Marmara Spike League has been completed today with the big match between Chaumont and Tourcoing.
Prior to this game, the visiting side shared the top of the standings together with Montpellier, who yesterday suffered an unexpected home defeat against Paris, both with 33 points, at +3 from their closest pursuers Chaumont. And now, after a clean 3-0 (25:22, 25:17, 25:22), all three have the same number of points in the current charts!
With a great team performance in attack, 63% to 43% of Tourcoing, the winners were led in score by Pierre Toledo, author of 13 points through 52% and 1 block, closely followed by Niko Suihkonen, who added 11 through 75% in attack and 2 blocks, and Shane Holdaway, who also contributed with 10 through 80% in attack and 2 blocks too.
Pablo Koukartsev scored 16 points for the visiting side, but he wasn’t enough.
