CEV Cup: comeback of Trento in semifinal vs. Ziraat and tie break win!

In first leg of 2024/25 CEV Cup semifinal, another game ended at tie break after the win of Asseco Resovia Rzeszów over Tours VB. At ilT quotidiano Arena, the hosts Trentino Itas down Ziraat Bank Ankara from Turkey 3-2 (26:28, 27:29, 25:21, 25:23, 15:8), who wasted a 0-2 lead.
In a very hard fought game, and after 141 minutes of play, Alessandro Michieletto earned MVP honors with 27 points to his name through 55% in attack, 3 winning blocks and 3 aces, well supported by Kamil Rychlicki, who also contributed with 19 points, closely
followed by Daniele Lavia, who added 18 through 53% and Flavio, 15 through 73% and 4 winning blocks.
Matt Anderson scored 21 points on the other side of the net.
In second leg, scheduled next Wednesday, both Itas Trentino and Asseco Resovia, will have to win with any result to claim the ticket for Final.
