Lublin down Civitanova in first leg of 2024/25 Challenge Cup final!

Poland’s Bogdanka LUK Lublin defeated italian powerhouse Cucine Lube Civitanova 3-1 (25:21, 22:25, 25:18, 26:24) in the first leg of 2024/25 CEV Challenge Cup final.
The match was highlighted by the hosts powerful serves, delivering as many as 13 aces, six of them from Wilfredo Leon, who was earned MVP honors with 22 points, well supported by Kewin Sasak, who added 16, and Fynnian McCarthy, also in double digit with 11.
For Lube, Mattia Bottolo and Aleksandar Nikolov scored 12 points each, while Adis Lagumdzija added 11.
The decisive second leg will take place on March 19 in Italy.
