Mission accomplished also for No.6 Dynamo-LO, who down No.11 Gazprom-Yugra Surgut with the score of 3-1 (25:15, 36:34, 22:25, 25:19), No.7 Dynamo Ural who, after straight sets win in first leg, struggled more than expected against No.10 Fakel Novyi Urengoy winning the game only at tie break, 3-2 (25:22, 22:25, 25:19, 23:25, 15:11), and for ninth placed in regular season Kuzbass Kemerovo who, after a home defeat at tie break in first leg, trampled over No.8 Yenisey Krasnoyarsk winning the decisive game in just three sets without major problems, 0-3 (20:25, 15:25, 18:25).
