Russia: Dynamo-LO make history! Dynamo Moscow eliminated to reach first-ever Superliga Semifinal

No.6 in regular season Dynamo-LO stun No.3 Dynamo Moscow to book a ticket among the Top Four in Russia!
In a thrilling twist, they have written a golden chapter in club’s history, claiming a spot to the semifinals of the PARI Super League for the very first time, delivering an emotional 1-3 (22:25, 23:25, 25:21, 20:25) win on the field of powerhouse Dynamo Moscow, sealing their quarterfinal series 2-0.
The underdogs from Leningrad region didn’t just play—they battled with heart, led by great plays from setter Kanstantsin Tsiushkevich, big serves from Dmitriy Kolenkovskiy, and with a great team spirit against one of the most quoted Superliga club.
Dynamo Moscow, despite firepower from Anton Siomyshev and Maksim Sapozhkov, couldn’t hold on and, with a series of unforced errors and missed chances in key moments, they suffered a defeat.

“Stronger isn’t always the team on paper. It’s the team that fights to the last ball. That was us today. We believed. We earned this,” said head coach of Dynamo-LO Anton Astashenko.
