Italy: Trento down Piacenza at tie break again to take the 2-0 lead in semifinal series!

After winning Game 1 at tie break in front of their home fans, in another thrilling five-set matches, Itas Trentino emerged victorious also in Game 2 of the SuperLega Credem Banca 2024/25 semifinals, going 2-0 up the best-of-five series.
In Piacenza, they narrowly defeated the rivals 2-3 (25:27, 25:15, 20:25, 25:22, 9:15), after a gripping 152-minute duel.

Despite statistical superiority, the home team has been penalized to 25 serve errors and 12 attack mistakes. Alessandrp Michieletto led the charge with 24 points to his name also earning MVP honors.
