Venezuela win Gold at 2025 Pan American Cup. Hosts Mexico defeated in four sets in final!

In the weekend, Venezuela secured the gold medal at 18th Senior Men’s Pan American Volleyball Cup held in León, Guanajuato, defeating the hosts Mexico with the score of 3-1 (25:23, 25:20, 20:25, 25:19) finishing the tournament unbeaten with six wins and only three sets lost!
Willner Rivas led the charge with 20 points to his name, well supported by Emerson Rodríguez who added 16, Jean Herrera with 12 and Eduardo Vásquez, also in double digit with 10.
The winners outperformed Mexico in attack (50-42) and blocking (10-8), while Mexico were better in serve points (5-2). Axel Téllez topped the hosts’ scoring with 12 points including four aces.
In the bronze medal match, Canada swept Colombia 3-0 (27:25, 25:22, 25:14) led by Jordan Canham, who scored 16 points, followed by Erik Siksna with 13 and Jonas Van Huizen with 12.
The winners dominated in blocking (12-5) and attacking (38-24) to secure third place.
