San Lorenzo de Almagro played a spectacular game to lift the Argentinian Supercopa, defeating the most quoted Ciudad Vóley in a thrilling 3–2 (23:25, 25:19, 20:25, 25:21, 15:11) final.
After a hard-fought five-set battle, they emerged victorious, celebrating a weekend of satisfactions, great play and resilience, underscored by standout plays from setter Santiago Longo Elia, who orchestrated the attack in a perfect way and sharp conclusions from Wilson Acosta and Valentín Durdos, sealing a comeback that electrified volleyball fans.
Earlier in the tournament, San Lorenzo had beaten Monteros Vóley 3–1 (25:19, 23:25, 25:20, 25:21) while Ciudad Vóley overcame Tucumán de Gimnasia with the same score, partially 25:21, 22:25, 25:19 and 25:21.
In a game for third-place, Tucumán de Gimnasia edged Monteros Vóley also at tie break, partially 18:25, 25:22, 25:18, 25:27 and 15:10.
