Round 3 of 2025/26 Marmara Spike League has been played today with all scheduled games.
To the top both with perfect score Montpellier and Tours.
The first one sweep Tourcoing in just three sets but not without problems, as the rivals battled hard in each set, including first one in which they kept control almost until the end, even wasting a 18-21 lead. Partially it was 26:24, 25:22 and 25:23. Three players left the court in double digit for the winners: Simon Hirsch, top scorer with 12 points, Ezequiel Palacios, who added 11, and a great Nicolas Le Goff, who also contributed with 10 through 77% in attack, 13/10 without errors!
A little bit different Tours’ game. Depite it was ended in straight sets too, they literally destroyed Narbonne (25:22, 25:11, 25:16) in front of almost 3000 home fans at their Salle Grenon. Nik Mujanovic made the difference again with 17 points to his name through an impressive 78% in attack, 2 winning blocks and 1 ace.
Straight sets win also for Poitiers, who trampled over Cannes on the road without major problems, 0-3 (21:25, 16:25, 21:25), while Plessis-Robinson earned three points too after a 1-3 (23:25, 25:18, 18:25, 22:25) great win on the field of Nice.

Four players leaft the court in double digit for the winners, Brett Wildman, Joevin Wa Bala and Nathan Canovas, with 16 apiece, and captain Raphaël Pascal who added 10 while, for the hosts, who struggled to find their rhythm, Dawid Dulski topped all score with 19 points to his name. Libero Julian Debes earned MVP honors.
Surely a disastrous start for Chaumont, alone to the bottom of the standings winless and with 0 points after a heavy 0-3 (16:25, 18:25, 15:25) home defeat against Sète. After just one hour and 16 minutes of play, the winners made the difference above all in blocking, scoring 13 points from this element compared to the hosts’ 4.
Close the picture a roller coaster between Paris and Toulouse, ended with the score of 3-2 (30:28, 25:22, 22:25, 25:27, 15:11) in favor of the team from country’s capital, who was lead by a super Vasili Molotkov, author of as many as 31 points through 60% in attack, 4 of his team’s 14 winning blocks and 2 aces. Timo Beriot scored 25 points on the other side of the net.
