3 min read

Third Round of 2025/26 Superlega CredemBanca has been completed today with the game between Rana Verona and Allianz Milano, ended with a clean 3-0 (25:22, 25:22, 25:20) win in favor of the home team, who collected third straight win in as many games!
The result is a historical first place in the standings for the first time ever, with a perfect 9 points, ahead Sir Susa Scai Perugia, who yesterday destroyed Sonepar Padova, at -1, and Valsa Group Modena and Cucine Lube Civitanova, both with 7 points, also victorious yesterday against Gas Sales BluEnergy Piacenza and Itas Trentino, respectively.
Verona, led by Noumory Keita and Rok Mozic, showed strength and precision throughout the match, keeping an impressive 61% attack rate, while Coach Fabio Soli’s tactical move to bring in Lorenzo Sani proved to be decisive, turning the tide in Verona’s favor during the opening set.
For Milano Ferre Reggers and Luca Recine scored 10 points each trying a desperate fight, but they couldn’t contain Verona’s momentum in the final points of each set.
Lorenzo Cortesia was named MVP, thanks to his good play at the net and a solid contributions in both attack, 9 points, and defense.
Verona’s unbeaten start highlights the club’s growing ambition and consistency, and they will now prepare for a big home clash against Itas Trentino on Sunday, November 2, while Allianz Milano will try to bounce back in the derby against Vero Volley Monza, also on Sunday.
