Poland: Bogdanka LUK Lublin make history after a great Super Cup win over Jastrzębski Węgiel!

In an amazing showdown at iconic Katowice’s Spodek Arena, Bogdanka LUK Lublin defeated JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel 3–1 (28:26, 25:27, 25:16, 27:25) to lift their first-ever AL-KO Polish Super Cup title.
The match featured high drama from start to finish, with both sides battling in a very high level volleyball, and three of the four sets were decided by narrow margins.
Wilfredo Leon led the charge, scoring 27 points for the winners and earning the MVP title for his great performance, while his teammates Kewin Sasak, who added 16, Aleks Grozdanow with 12 and Hilir Henno with 11 provided strong support.
On the other side of the net, Nicolas Szerszeń was the most prolific player with 22 points to his name, while Łukasz Kaczmarek added 15 and Anton Brehme 10.
Lublin showed their dominance with strong attacks, a decisive performance from the serve’s line (9–4 in aces), and, above all, an impressive performance at the net with as many as 14 winning blocks compared to the rivals’ 2.
