Poland: Round 4 continues – ZAKSA sweep Jastrzębski! Aluron trampled over newcomers Chełm

After two advances played on Thursday, won by Indykpol AZS Olsztyn and Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, Round 4 of 2025/26 Plusliga continued today with other two games.
It was a confident night for both ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, as each side claimed 3–0 victories their respective games.
In Kędzierzyn-Koźle, ZAKSA finally found their rhythm and, after three straight losses, Andrea Giani’s team responded on an excellent way, sweeping JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel 3–0 (25:16, 25:23, 27:25)! Kamil Rychlicki with 15 points and Igor Grobelny with 13 were the top scorers of the match, while setter Quinn Isaacson, named MVP. The hosts also led in blocking (6–4) and limited their own errors (19 compared to 23 from the rivals).
Meanwhile, in Zawiercie, the home crowd also had plenty to cheer about, as their Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie swept newcomers InPost ChKS Chełm (25:21, 25:20, 25:22) without major problems. Aaron Russell led the charge with 9 points, while Amirhossein Esfandiar, who left the court as top scorer with 11 points to his name and Łukasz Łapszyński, also with 9, tried to keep Chełm in the fight.
The stats told the one-sided story, with the winners outblocked their rivals 7–2 and committed far fewer errors (17 to Chełm’s 28).
Setter Miguel Tavares earned the MVP award.
Round 4 will continue tomorrow with other two games, with BOGDANKA LUK Lublin who will welcome PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów, and Steam Hemarpol Politechnika Częstochowa who will face Ślepsk Malow Suwałki, and will close on Tuesday, December 2 with the last game between Barkom Każany Lwów and Cuprum Stilon Gorzów.
