France: Igor Juricic new head coach of Tours VB after Kasic’s sudden exit

Just a day after celebrating the French Super Cup triumph with an amazing tie break win over Tourcoing, Tours Volley-Ball was hit with an unexpected news as head coach Mladen Kasic announced his departure, stunning fans after their new success.

According to verified local sources, former head coach decision had already been agreed upon internally nearly ten days earlier, giving the club time to quietly prepare for what came next.
And today, the next chapter begins with Croatian expert Igor Juricic.

Igor Juricic is not a stranger to French volleyball as, after years of experience as both player and coach, guided Tourcoing to French Cup title in 2018.
His international journey has taken him to Russia, Greece, and Poland, and most recently, he also served as Croatia’s national team coach during the summer of 2024.
