France: Round 7 continues – Tourcoing sweep Ajaccio and fly (temporarily) at first place!

After the advance played yesterday, in which Nice won in four sets on the field of Paris, 2025/26 Marmara Spike League Round 7 continued today with the clash between Tourcoing and newcomers Ajaccio, ended with a clean 3-0 (25:19, 25:21, 25:18) sweep in favor of the home team, that temporarily fly to the top of the standings.
At least, temporarily, until tomorrow when Montpellier, now at -2, will face Narbonne away. At -3 with 14 points also Tours, tomorrow on the field of Cannes.
Despite the return of Daryl Bultor, who left the court as most prolific player together with Lucas Salles, both with 9 points through 83% in attack for the first one, nothing to do for Ajaccio, who struggled to find their rythm from start to finish, with the only exception of first half of second set.
Venislav Antov led the charge for the winners with 18 points through 65% in attack and 1 block, while Jan Martinez Franchi and Simon Roherig also contributed with 10 each.
Round 7 will close tomorrow with all remaining games.
