Champions League: Guaguas Las Palmas to Pool Stage! Levski Sofia destroyed also in second leg.

After eliminating Greek powerhouse Olympiacos Piraeus in previous round, as well as convincing straight sets win in front of their home fans in first leg against Bulgaria’s Levski Sofia, Guaguas Las Palmas from Spain did the same celebrating another 0-3 (18:25, 20:25, 19:25) to claim a ticket for 2025/26 CEV Champions League Pool Stage.
Without major problems, Francisco Bezzerra and Nicolas Bruno led the charge with 12 and 10 points respectively, through an impressive 83% efficiency for the latter.
Despite 10 points from an almost perfect Lazar Bouchkov (89% in attack and 2 blocks), the hosts struggled to find their rythm against a too strong rivals.
Guaguas will compete in Pool C together with defending champions from Italy Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, German powerhouse Berlin Recycling Volleys and VK Lvi Praha from Czech Republic.
Tomorrow, at Sportna Dvorana Tivoli, Slovenia’s ACH Volley Ljubljana will welcome Radnicki Kragujevac after dominating first leg in Serbia.
