France: Tours down Chaumont at tie break in advance of Round 10

In advance of 2025/26 Marmara Spike League Round 10, Tours defeated Chaumont in five sets in a big classic of French volleyball, 3-2 (22:25, 25:19, 25:21, 16:25, 15:11).
Still feeling the effects of Tuesday’s five-set loss in Tourcoing in another big match, Tours again struggled to find their rhytm. After Chaumont forced a decisive set after a disastrous start this season, the hosts reacted to seal it 15–11.
Nik Mujanovic powered the hosts with 28 points to his name through 50% in attack, 3 blocks and 1 ace, while Landry Kavogo Yaoussia added 22.
With this victory Tours back to the top of the standings with 23 points, at least temporarily, at +1 from Montpellier and Tourcoing, who will face Saint Nazaire and Narbonne on Saturday.
Chaumont, despite the loss, continued their improvement and moved out of last place for now.
