France: Round 11 completed – Montpellier stay to the top! Tourcoing, Tours, Nice, Sète and Paris ok

After the advance played on Thursday, in which Cannes down Narbonne in four sets, Round 11 of 2025/26 Marmara Spike League has been completed today.
The day started with a clean 0-3 (22:25, 21:25, 16:25) success of Tours on the field of Toulouse in front of more than 1800 volleyball fans. Nik Mujanovic led the charge with 18 points to his name through 64% in attack and 2 blocks, while Leandry Kavogo (with 5 blocks) and Alexandre Strehlau also contributed with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Pierre Derouillon was the only player in double digit for the home team, tallying 13 points.
With this victory, Tours confirmed themselves at second place in the standings with 27 points, at -1 from leaders Montpellier who, despite the absences, managed to win in four sets in front of their home fans against a combative Chaumont, 3-1 (21:25, 25:21, 25:20, 25:23).

MVP Mathias Vincent led the charge with 26 points through 64% in attack with 2 blocks and 1 ace, while Ezequiel Palacios and Tomas Lopez Pascual also contributed with 14 each.
Behind them with 26 points Tourcoing, after a 0-3 (22:25, 20:25, 20:25) win on the field of Plessis Robinson, with 14 points apiece from Jan Martinez Franchi and Venislav Antov.
3 points also for Paris, who down a combative St-Nazaire ater a 0-3 (18:25, 23:25, 26:28) hard-fought game, once again led by bomber Vasili Molotkov (28 points including 5 of the winners’ 9 aces, 1 block and 55% in attack). With this result, Montpellier remain alone to the bottom of the standings at -1 from Chaumont and -2 from Ajaccio, defeated at home today by Sète, 2-3 (25:22, 21:25, 25:22, 22:25, 13:15), despite 28 points from Matej Patak. Lorenz Karlitzek top-scored the winners with 21 points.
Tie break win also for Nice, who almost wasted a 0-2 lead on the field of Poitiers, but eventually regrouped to close the match 2-3 (23:25, 19:25, 30:28, 25:22, 12:15), with as many as 19 winning blocks (11 only from Lohan Nack Minyem), 25 points from Dawid Dulski and 21 from Shay Liberman.
Ligue A will continue on Thursday with the advance of Round 12, the derby between Paris and Plessis-Robinson.
