Türkiye: Round 13 completed – Halkbank won big match for 3rd place and the others after completed first half!

The first half of the 2025/2026 SMS Grup Efeler Ligi season officially wrapped up on as all Round 13 matches were completed.
The highlight of the day came in Ankara, where Halkbank battled past İstanbul Gençlik Spor in a dramatic five-set showdown at the TVF Ziraat Bankkart Volleyball Hall. Well supported by their home fans, the team from country’s capital held their nerve in the final set to close out a hard-fought victory that lasted more than two and a half hours, 3–2 (25:23, 23:25, 21:25, 25:22, 15:12).
Halkbank remain second-to-last in the standings at -4 from leaders Ziraat Bankkart, that needed four sets to prevail over Kuşgöz İzmir Vinç Akkuş Belediyespor, 1-3 (23:25, 16:25, 25:21, 14:25).
Four sets win also for Fenerbahçe Medicana over Gebze Bld., 3-1 (25:18, 18:25, 25:22, 25:23), Gaziantep Gençlik Spor Kulübü over last-placed Rams Global Cizre Bld. Spor Kulübü, 3-1 (25:11, 25:14, 24:26, 25:22), Spor Toto, 1-3 (22:25, 25:20, 19:25, 23:25) on the field of İBB Spor Kulübü, while Galatasaray HDI Sigorta won on the field of Bursa Büyükşehir Bld. in straight sets, 0-3 (20:25, 23:25, 18:25)
Close the picture Altekma’s tie break win over On Hotels Alanya Bld., 3-2 (25:18, 19:25, 18:25, 25:23, 15:10).
With the first half of the Efeler Ligi now complete, teams will take a brief pause before turning their attention to upcoming next games.
