Coppa Italia 2025/26: Trento destroy Monza to become first semifinalist!

In first quarterfinals of 2025/26 Del Monte Coppa Italia, regular season winter champions Itas Trentino trampled over No.8 Vero Volley Monza with an easy 3-0 (25:13, 25:19, 25:19) home success.
The second one against the same rivals on boxing day, in a game that ended with the same result at Monza’s Opiquad Arena.
Alessandro Michieletto led the winners collecting 15 points, well supported by Theo Faure and Flavio Gualberto, who added 10 each, while Erik Rohrs was the only player on the other side of the net with 11 points.
The hosts dominated the game from start to finish, with 56% of team performance in attack, 8 aces and 7 winning blocks.
The team coached by Marcelo Mendez thus is first one to claim a ticket for Final Four, scheduled on February 7 and 8 at Bologna’s Unipol Arena.
