Champions League: 2nd week is over with victories of Berlin Recycling Volleys, Ziraat Bankkart Ankara and Bogdanka LUK Lublin

A thrilling night of action across Europe in 2025/26 CEV Champions League close second week of the competition with lot of drama.
In Pool A in Ljubljana, Ziraat Bankkart Ankara easily trampled over ACH Volley Ljubljana in straight sets, 0-3 (22:25, 15:25, 20:25).
The Turkish champions were in full control from the opening whistle, dictating play with precision and without major problems, with setter Murat Yenipazar who earned MVP honors and Nimir Abdel-Aziz led the scoring with 21 points.
The drama unfolded in Belgium, where Bogdanka LUK Lublin showed resilience and experience to beat Knack Roeselare 2-3 (25:15, 20:25, 25:23, 20:25, 12:15) in a vibrant Pool B contest.
After being stunned in the opening set, the Polish side fought back twice to force a tie-break, then held their nerve in decisive moments of the game, with who Mateusz Malinowski earned MVP awards, and Wilfredo Leon who, with his 17 points, delivered key attacks late on to seal his team’s second consecutive win in the competition.
Another five-set clash has been played in Prague, where Berlin Recycling Volleys overcame fierce resistance from the hosts VK Lvi Praha, 2-3 (26:28, 25:22, 14:25, 20:25, 9:15).
The match continued for over two hours before Berlin’s experience told in decisive tie-break, which they closed out 15–9. Jake Hanes with 26 points once again led led the charge, finishing as top scorer and MVP.
