Champions League: fourth week continued – all results of Wednesday

Fourth week of 2025/26 CEV Champions League continued today with another interesting night featuring other four games in which all winners earned three points. Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia were under pressure but came through in four sets, while Ziraat Bankkart Ankara, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and PGE Projekt Warszawa all enjoyed straight-sets victories.
In Pool C, italian powerhouse Perugia maintained their unbeaten record with a 3-1 (26:24, 25:19, 21:25, 25:20) win over Guaguas Las Palmas from Spain. After edging a tense opening set, defending champions took control before sealing the match despite a brief comeback from the visiting side.
Oleh Plotnytskyi once again played a key role and earned MVP honors with 16 points, just like his teammate Wassim Ben Tara, while Agustin Loser and Yuki Ishikawa also contributed with 12 each.
In Pool A, Ziraat Bankkart Ankara continued their flawless campaign, destroying ACH Volley Ljubljana from Slovenia 3-0 (25:21, 25:21, 25:20). Led by Nimir Abdel-Aziz (16 points through 57% in attack, 3 blocks and 1 ace), the Turkish side showed consistency and control throughout the match.
Poland’s Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie also remained perfect in Pool D, defeating Sporting CP Lisboa from Portugal in straight sets in front of their home fans, 3-0 (25:21, 25:21, 25:22), led by Bartłomiej Bołądź, who left the court with 18 points through 68% in attack and 1 block.
Meanwhile in Pool E, PGE Projekt Warszawa bounced back from an earlier defeat to Montpellier with a composed 3-0 (28:26, 25:23, 25:20) win over the French side. Under new head coach Kamil Nalepka, Warszawa looked confident playing a very high level game, with Bartosz Bednorz named MVP with 19 points through 64% in attack, 2 blocks and 1 ace.
Fourth week will close tomorrow with last two games, in which Galatasaray HDI Istanbul will welcome Halkbank Ankara in all-turkish derby of Pool B and super favorite Trentino Itas who will face Tours VB from France in Pool A.
