Champions League: fourth week completed with the win of Galatasaray over Halkbank and a battle between Trentino and Tours!

An exciting fourth week of 2025/26 CEV Champions League has been completed today with last two games.
In all-turkish derby of Pool B, Galatasaray HDI Istanbul stun Halkbank Ankara winning the game with the score of 3-1 (25:16, 27:25, 22:25, 25:20).
Galatasaray HDI Istanbul took an important step forward in the competion, taking early control with a dominant 25–16 opening set. The hosts then showed resilience in a tense second set, edging it 27–25 to build a two-set lead.
Halkbank responded in the third, tightening their game to claim it 25–22 and keep the contest alive. More or less, as Galatasaray, however, regrouped quickly and finished strongly, closing the fourth and decisive set to secure the win and move into second place in Pool B.
Jean Patry led the charge with 22 points and was named MVP, while Stephen Maar added another 22 for the winners. Matey Kaziyski was Halkbank’s top scorer with 17 points.
But It was a night to remember also for Itas Trentino, who pulled off a stunning comeback to defeat Tours VB from France after a marathon five-set battle, ended 3-2 (25:27, 24:26, 25:23, 25:22, 28:26).
Missing injured star Alessandro Michieletto, italian powerhouse looked in trouble after dropping the first two sets. Tours played with confidence and control, pushing the Italians to their limit before dropping in level since third set, when Trento refused to give up. The turning point came behind an extraordinary performance from Theo Faure, who carried his team through the tense moments and led them back into the match. His team won the third set, took full control in the fourth, and then survived a nerve-racking tie-break that lasted more than half an hour!
Tours wasted four chances to close the match, but the hosts, on their tenth match point, finally sealed a dramatic 28–26 win in the fifth set, completing an unforgettable comeback after nearly three hours of play.
Theo Faure left the court with a remarkable 40 points and was deservedly named MVP with 58% in attack (35/60) and 5 aces.
