Türkiye: all results of Round 18 – four games ended at tie break!

Round 18 of 2025/2026 SMS Grup Efeler Ligi, started yesterday with the advance in which Galatasaray HDI Sigorta struggled more than expected on the field of Kuşgöz İzmir Vinç Akkuş Belediyespor, closing the game only at tie break, 2-3 (19:25, 28:26, 25:23, 17:25, 9:15), with 21 points from Jean Patry (55% in attack, 2 aces and 1 block), supported by Stephen Maar (21) and Gökçen Yüksel (19), has been completed today with the remaining 6 games.
Several games, more precisely other three, ended at tie break, highlighting the competitive balance of the league as teams battle for crucial points in the standings.
Spor Toto lost narrowly to Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor 2–3 (28:30, 20:25, 27:25, 25:14, 12:15), while Gebze Belediyespor edged past İstanbul Gençlik Spor 3–2 (25:19, 25:20, 21:25, 16:25, 15:12) too, just like Fenerbahçe Medicana, who claimed a dramatic 3–2 victory over On Hotels Alanya Belediyespor (20:25, 25:22, 22:25, 25:23, 15:10).
Gaziantep Gençlik Spor fell at home to super favorite Halkbank by 1–3 (25:22, 28:30, 18:25, 18:25), while İBB Spor Kulübü were defeated by Altekma 1–3 (25:22, 20:25, 19:25, 19:25).
Efelerligi will continue next Sunday, February 15, with all scheduled games of Round 19.
