France: Tourcoing down Toulouse in advance of Round 22

Round 22 of 2025/26 MARMARA Spike League started today with the advance between Toulouse and Tourcoing, ended with the score of 1-3 (25:27, 20:25, 25:18, 22:25) in favor of the visitors who consolidated third place in the standings, temporarily at -2 from No.2 Montpellier, who will face Cannes on Sunday. Libero Jan Martinez earned MVP honors, while four players left the court in double digit: Venislav Antov, top scorer of the match with 19 points to his name, Ignacio Luengas, who added 15, an excellent Simon Roehrig, who left the court with 13 points through 83% in attack, 2 blocks and 1 ace, and Tom Lavigne with 10.
For Toulouse, this was first defeat after five wins a row!
Round 22 will continue tomorrow with other two games: Sète will welcome last-placed Ajaccio, while Nice will face St-Nazaire to try to put an end to their series of three defeats in a row.
