After stunning regular season winners in Game 1, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle was not able to reply a sensation suffering a 1-3 (22:25, 25:23, 23:25, 23:25) home defeat against Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, tying their 2025/26 PlusLiga quarterfinal series at one win apiece.
In a closely fought contest, the visiting side edged the key moments of the match, taking three of four hard-fought sets and, after splitting the first two, they showed greater composure late in the third and fourth sets to secure a well-deserved victory.
Aaron Russell led the charge with 20 points points to his name, while Bartosz Kwolek added 18 and earned MVP honors, and Bartłomiej Bołądź also contributed with 13 points.
For ZAKSA, Kamil Rychlicki and Jakub Szymański scored 16 each.
The deciding third match will be played on April 9 in Sosnowiec.
