Poland: Warszawa open quarterfinal series with a straight sets win over Jastrzębski

In the opener of 2025/26 Plusliga Playoffs Quarterfinals, No.2 in regular season PGE Projekt Warszawa sweep No.7 JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel with a clean 3-0 (25:21, 25:22, 25:19).
In front of 3150 home fans in country’s capital, Bartosz Bednorz earned MVP honors with 19 points to his name through 68% in attack, 4 of the winners’ 14 winning blocks and 2 aces, while Kévin Tillie added 14 including 2 blocks.
Michał Gierżot was the only player in double digit on the other side of the net.
Game 2 next Saturday, April 4, while tomorrow other two games of best-of-three quarterfinal series: Asseco Resovia Rzeszów will welcome Indykpol AZS Olsztyn while, in the evening, BOGDANKA LUK Lublin will face PGE GiEK SKRA Bełchatów.
On Sunday, regular season winners Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie will face ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
