After a four sets win in Game 1 in front of their home fans, Valsa Group Modena did the same on the field of Allianz Milano winning a game with lot of errors in both sides on their rivalsโ field by 1-3 (25:22, 21:25, 23:25, 20:25).
Paul Buchegger led the charge with 23 points to his name through 63% in attack, 5 aces and 3 blocks, well supported by Vlad Davyskiba and Luca Porro, who added 15 and 10, respectively for a Modena who boasted 62% in attack, well orchestrated by MVP Amir Tizi-Oualou (who also contributed with 5 points) and 11 aces.
Ferre Reggers with 19 points including 4 aces and 1 block and Tatsunori Otsuka with 13 and 1 ace were the most prolific players for Milano, who closed their 2025/26 season but with the victory of CEV Challenge Cup 2026.
Modena now will face Itas Trentino in final, who eliminated Vero Volley Monza with a double straight sets success.
