France: Round 24 continues – Narbonne sweep Ajaccio in straight sets!

After the advance played yesterday, in which Paris sweep Nice in a prequel of Coupe de France final, scheduled on Sunday, March 28 in Paris, Round 24 of 2025/26 MARMARA Spike League continued today with the clash between Narbonne and last-placed Ajaccio, ended with a clean 3-0 (25:13, 25:18, 25:23) in favor of the home side, who won the game without major problems.
Only in third set Ajaccio tried a desperate attempt to re-open the game taking an early lead and performing a comeback from 21-19, but it wasn’t enough.
Michael Czerwinski led the charge with 14 points to his name through 53% in attack, 2 aces and 2 blocks, well supported by Liam Patte and Pelegrine Vargas, who added 11 each.
Only Florian Lacassie reached a double digit scoring 12 points on the other side of the net.
But this was a success also for Chaumont, who can celebrate, thanks to the win of Narbonne, their stay in Ligue A!
Round 24 will close tomorrow with the remaining five games.
