Road to the World Championship. The inaugural match hijacked at PalaLottomatica in case of bad weather?

Last night Rome (and other italian cities) was hit by heavy rains and, approaching the day of the opening of the World Championship, there are, of course, some concerns. The problem is that it will impossible play at the Foro Italico due to bad weather. The Organizing Committee has already prepared a reserve solution, and the inaugural match would be played within the PalaLottomatica at EUR. A final decision will be taken on Tuesday, after a meeting with Aeronautics focused on weather forecasts. The italian newspaper “Corriere dello Sport” in today’s edition speak about this “unexpected” problem. So Tuesday, it could decide to play the Inaugural match at the PalaLottomatica. If, on the other hand, the match will play at Foro Italico and then on Sunday it should rain, there will the suspension of the match, that will be recovered on Monday evening at the PalaLottomatica.
