After the match Italy-Slovenia, the first round have been completed, so we can presenting you the groups for the second round of the World Championship!
Three teams are very close to reach the Final Six, because they have 5-0 score each right in this moment: Italy, USA and Poland. Below the second round Pools compositions:

Japan – Argentina 3-2 (26-24, 20-25, 30-32, 25-20, 15-13)
Argentina take two sets and send Japan to home. Even though defeat, Argentina is going to the second round. Facundo Conte was the top scorer of the match with 33 points while on the other side Yuji Nishida ended the game with 31 points!
Italy – Slovenia 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-18).
Italy go to the second round with 5-0 score! The Slovenian team got into the match very aggressive, winning the first set 25-23, but then decided to end the match in advance. Italy destroying the rival in the other three sets. Ivan Zaytsev was the top scorer with 18 points, while on the other side Mitja Gasparini had 18!

China – Brazil 0-3 (21-25, 22-25, 17-25)
Brazil destroyed China and go to the first position! Brazil didn’t have any difficulties in this match, Wallace de Souza was the top scorer 21 points, followed by Douglas Costa with 13. In China, Shuhan Rao had 11 points.
Canada – France 1-3 (22-25, 21-25, 25-22, 17-25)
It was important for France conquered a victory and they have done it in last game of Pool B at the World Championship. France was in a very difficult situation before the start of the match, because they needed to score a victory in this match. Earvin Ngapeth was the top player of the match, and scored 18 points. In Canada, Nicholas Hoag had 12!

USA – Tunisia 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-13)
USA won against all in Pool C! Tunisia were just another homework for USA so, they beat them all! Taylor Sander and Max Holt were the top scorers of the game with 13 points each.
Serbia – Russia 3-2 (25-21, 24-26, 25-17, 22-25, 15-12)
Lisinac’s serves destroy Russia in tie-break, and this is really a big victory for Serbia! They defeated Russia in an high-level volleyball show, making a comeback in the tie-break thanks to fantastic serves of Srecko Lisinac. Aleksandar Atanasijevic was the top scorer with 23 points, Uros Kovacevic had 21, Marko Ivovic 16, while Srecko Lisinac added 10! On the other side, Egor Kliuka scored 19 points, followed by Maxim Mikhailov 17, Dmitry Muserskiy 14, Dmitry Volkov 13.

POOL D @ Varna
Finland – Iran 2-3 (19-25, 25-22, 25-23, 23-25, 12-15)
Iran have managed to defeated Finland in a battle long five-set. It was a very difficult match for both sides, but Igor Kolakovic’s team has managed to score a 3-2 victory and to finish the group stage with a 4-1 record, and this gives them a huge chance for the Final Six. Milad Ebadipour was the top scorer with 18 points, while Niko Sihkonen had 19 in Finland.
Bulgaria – Poland 1-3 (14-25, 25-23, 22-25, 23-25)
Reigning champions of Poland stay undefeated and take a 5-0 score. The team of Vital Heynen has made a huge step towards the Final Six. Bartosz Kurek (21 points) and Michal Kubiak (18) were the best scorers in Poland, while in Bulgaria, Valentin Bratoev had 19 points.
